Want to Write a Book?
Recently, I've had several people telling me that I should write a book. Have you ever thought about writing one? Nearly 8 out of 10 people say they “want to write a book”!
Yes, the number really is that high – The problem is so few of us actually do it.
Consider Pareto’s Principal (also known as the 80/20 rule); of the 80% who have a book inside them yearning to come out and serve the world, at most 20% begin their project and only 20% of those complete it and at most 20% of those publish their work.
Running the math beginning with 80 people out of 100 who want to write a book yields only 0.64 people will actually start, finish and ultimately publish a book! Yikes – 0.64 out of 100 is not good odds!
But, I have good news for you today; news that will put the “published author” odds in your favor.
